The Tape Solution® Solar Interconnection Tape is specially developed electrical tape for interconnection of individual solar cells in the solar module. It consists of a 0,05 mm thick, premium grade electrical tape. The tape withstands a wide temperature range of -40 to 150 °C.
The Solar interconnection tape is a corrosion resistant tape with a silicon adhesive that offers optimized adherence. The tape works as a carrier for the electric connector ribbons that is cut in a pattern suited for connecting all individual solar cells in series. It offers an easy way to apply an electrical connector on the solar cell with high precision. For manual or automated application. Because of the tinned coating the connector could easily be connected to the solar cells during the lamination process. RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant.
